Today (01), ULTRON (WiFigarden Inc.) is proud to announce its membership in the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA). We are committed to supporting the smart home standard protocol known as "Matter," which has been jointly defined by tech giants Apple, Google, and Amazon. The Matter protocol enables seamless cross-brand compatibility and interoperability among all IoT devices. This means that products supporting Apple HomeKit can now be controlled through Google Assistant, Works with Google appliances, and Amazon Alexa. This breakthrough eliminates the need for appliance brands to choose a specific smart voice system during development, resulting in an enhanced user experience and further strengthening the future market prospects of smart homes.
Since its inception, ULTRON has been on a mission to solve IoT connectivity challenges. Our journey has taken us from Wi-Fi Mesh to AIoT, spanning regions including North America, Israel, South Korea, and Taiwan. We've proudly established partnerships with more than ten world-class telecom manufacturers. To date, our IoT software connectivity technology has been adopted by over 30 million households worldwide. In Taiwan, IoTs that powered by Ultron has formed strategic collaborations with key telecom providers such as Taiwan Mobile, Taiwan Broadband, and Kbro Broadband. These partnerships ensure exceptional Wi-Fi coverage for smart devices and eliminate network-related limitations during promotional activities.
With the launch of ULTRON Matter, it represents ULTRON IoT's corporate vision to CONNECT ALL THINGS, as Matter perfectly aligns with our core values. The integration of ULTRON and Matter technologies has yielded a more secure and simplified IoT connectivity solution, effectively addressing the complexities and challenges associated with setting up smart devices. This optimization significantly streamlines the setup process to the point where users may not even realize it – their newly added smart devices seamlessly connect.
While Matter is expected to officially launch by the end of 2022, some Taiwanese home appliance manufacturers have already integrated ULTRON Matter modules into their IoT appliances, positioning themselves in the international market. ULTRON combines its wireless connectivity technology, which holds 10 technical patents, with Matter technology, significantly expediting manufacturers' market entry timelines. From 2020 to the present, ULTRON IoT's wireless technology services have been adopted in 450,000 households in Taiwan. ULTRON IoT firmly believes that the smart home market must achieve vertical integration, alliance cooperation, and professional complementarity to thrive in an industry characterized by rapidly changing market dynamics.
With the long-awaited release of Matter 1.0, internationally renowned research institutions are placing high hopes, considering it is a standard jointly established by the three tech giants: Apple, Google, and Amazon. Compared to last year, despite still being under the shadow of the pandemic, ULTRON's revenue has tripled. This clearly indicates that the IoT market holds highly promising prospects!
